These are exactly the same as the washing machine lint traps (the kind that goes over the hose from the washer that drains into a laundry sink) you can find at grocery stores or some of the all-in-one big box stores, but you get 24 as opposed to two, and you are not paying a whole lot more than you would pay for two of them in a regular store. Lint traps are one of those things that you tend to only know you need when you want to do a load of laundry and discover that you have no more left and the one currently on the hose is full and/or splitting. Of course, how long a pack of 24 will last depends on how much laundry you do, but if you live alone and only do laundry every week or two, this pack can easily last over a year.
