Product Review: Solder Sucker- desoldering pump

 

It does take some practice to be able to use it effectively. Mostly, to figure out the angle to hold it at when using it. I suggest watching some videos on desoldering a couple of times to get a feel for how to use one of these (if you are a beginner at soldering anyway). Once you get the hang of how to use a solder sucker, it is much easier to use than a solder wick and much more effective.
